On October 1, 2010 I was hit head on by a distracted driver ~ I spent six hours in Trauma & I am still chanllenged by this event...
Distracted Driving affects everyone ~ from the families & friends to the people who watch it happen...
Please put your cell phones away ~ don’t text ~ phone ~ talk while driving ~ if you need to make a call or send a text please pull over and take five or ten minutes to think of others...
** & please don’t eat while driving...
More & more technology is being introduced into today’s vehicles that make communications safer - please ask about these options when you are thinking about buying... There are also alternatives in hand held devices such as Apple’s new i Phone 4s with Siri that allows voice activation to keep your eyes on the road for yourself and other drivers...
There is currently a campaign to assist in trying to eliminate and minimize Distracted Driving ~ please visit this site to read and watch some of the videos from the families that have lost and been affected...
If everyone just took 30 seconds to remember the impact of the road ~ we could save lives...

My piece of music “Mozart on Ice” is featured in my cousin Doc Fletcher third book released in January titled Canoeing and Kayaking Wisconsin - The Rivers, The Towns, The Taverns ... It is peice of music that he says he took with him and could hear while paddling the rivers - found on page 97 - along with other artist’s like James Brown... An avid Canoest - Doc has written three books over the last four years - these books provide an abstract view of the water travelled - featuring some “not so famous” stops of back street resturants and taverns with some of the best food & service... His books may be found in bookstores & on his website and at his live presentations... He is also the one who took the video for my Mozart on Ice video... Thank you Jeff - I am truly honored... Love you...

Joe Perry played the Royal Oak Music Theatre for two shows on this night - one at 7:30 & one at 10:30... I attended both shows... These were the first shows for the newly formed Project with original lead vocalist Ralph Morman... It was great to see this show in such an intimate setting with sound acoustics...
